Philodendron 'Red Sun'

The Philodendron'Red Sun'sometimes called PhilodendronSun Redis a variety of climbing variety very decorative, fairly fast growing. It is a good climber, with vines that can become quite long (6 feet - 1.8 m.), so a stake is needed. Its glossy, color-changing foliage is simply spectacular. Its new oval leaves emerge in shades of very bright red, turning to burgundy and eventually turning green. The different leaves that grow and develop at different times make this plant beautiful and attractive.

Watering : moderate, let the substrate dry on the surface between waterings, but never let the soil dry completely
Brightness : intense - medium, but always indirect, without direct sun. If the leaves turn green, it is a sign that the light is not sufficient. If the colors fade, it is a sign that the light is perhaps too intense.
Relative humidity: medium to high
Substrate: well draining, use our homemade potting soil
Fertilization : once a month during the growing season
Toxicity : toxic for animals
