The Philodendron 'Jose Buono (sometimes called Philodendron 'Jose Bueno') has large, variegated paddle-shaped leaves with white patterns that vary considerably from plant to plant. Growing up to 2 feet (60 cm) long, the leaves of 'Jose Buono' are sure to add an exotic flair to your environment. It is a vigorous climber and can reach 12 to 20 feet (3.5 m. to 6 m.) in height, but it will require patience, as this philodendron is slow growing. And if it becomes invasive, it will bear pruning well.

Origin: unknown, but probably originated in the Caribbean as it is named after a Puerto Rican settler
Watering: moderate, allow to surface dry before watering
Light: moderate to bright, indirect. Direct sunlight on variegated leaves will burn or yellow them.

Substrate: well draining, aerated and rich, use our tropical potting soil
