Hoya is known by many names: Wax Flower, Porcelain Flowers, Wax Plant. It is a popular houseplant grown for its glossy foliage and sweetly scented wax-like flowers. It is captivating, not only because of its fragrance and waxy appearance, but also because its flowers look like stars gathered in clusters that are also star-shaped.

Hoya gracilis 'Memoria' has fairly thick, lanceolate, dark green leaves with silver spots. When exposed to excellent light, its leaves and stems turn purple. Hoya gracilis 'Memoria' is a hardy, easy to care for vine that loves to climb. The smell of its flowers is said to be reminiscent of caramel.

Origin : Philippines
Watering : weak. Water only when the substrate is dry.
Light : intense, but indirect, 6 to 10 hours to have a nice bloom
Relative humidity : medium to high
Substrate : rich and draining, use our homemade potting soil for Hoyas
Fertilization : every 4 weeks during the growing period. A fertilizer rich in nitrogen will promote beautiful foliage, and you can switch to a fertilizer rich in phosphorus when your Hoya is about to bloom.
