Philodendron hederaceum 'Cream splash

The Philodendron hederaceum 'Cream Splash' is a climbing vine (hederaceum meaning "like an ivy"). It looks very similar to Philodendron hederaceum 'Brasil', but the leaves and variegation are a bit different. While 'Brasil' has bright yellow variegation on green leaves, the leaves of 'Cream Splash' have dark green, light green, cream and lemon yellow. The leaves of 'Cream Splash' are a bit smaller. We most often use it hanging basket style, but at each node of its stem are small spikes that allow it to cling to surfaces. This plant is rather fast growing and can have very long stems, so don't hesitate to prune it to keep a bushy habit. Each leaf will be unique and will present a singular variegation, which makes this philodendron a real favorite.

Brightness: medium to indirect, without direct sun. The variegation will diminish if the plant lacks light.

Fertilization : once a month during the growing season
Toxicity: toxic for animals
