Philodendron atabapoense is a tropical species of Philodendron native to the South American regions of Venezuela and Brazil. This plant is known for its long, lanceolate leaves, which feature dark-green foliage and coppery stems, giving it an elegant, distinctive appearance. The leaves can reach impressive lengths, contributing to the plant's dramatic allure.
Origin: Philodendron atabapoense grows naturally in the tropical rainforests of South America, where it thrives under the forest canopy, benefiting from the shade and humidity.
Growth: This species has a climbing habit, making it ideal for support by a stake or moss-covered post. Its vigorous growth allows it to spread and rise, offering a remarkable visual spectacle in any living space.
Flowers: Philodendron atabapoense can produce floral spathes, characteristic of the Araceae family, but its flowering is infrequent in indoor cultivation and is generally grown for its spectacular foliage rather than its flowers.
Light: Prefer exposure to medium indirect light. Too much direct light can damage foliage, while too little light can reduce color vibrancy and slow growth.
Watering: Watering should be regular to keep the substrate evenly moist, but not soggy. It is important to let the substrate dry slightly between waterings to prevent root rot.

You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.
Delivery price:
The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.
Preparation of orders:
An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.
Orders cancellation:
Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.
Combine your order with an existing one
We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined.
Winter Expedition
During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.
Pickup in store:
In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email.
Returns:
All our plants are final sales.
However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
