Hoya kerrii, often called the heart plant because of its fleshy, heart-shaped leaves, is a succulent climber that is much appreciated for its unique appearance and pretty flowers. Native to Southeast Asia, this Hoya is ideal for houseplant enthusiasts looking for a species that is both attractive and easy to care for.

Origin: Hoya kerrii comes from the tropical regions of Southeast Asia, notably Thailand, Vietnam and Laos, where it grows mainly as an epiphyte in forests.

Growth: This plant can grow quite large as a climber, with stems that extend and climb over any available support. In the absence of support, it can drop back gracefully, making it an excellent plant for hanging baskets.

Flowers: Hoya kerrii produces umbels of starry, waxy flowers that are often white with a pink center. The flowers are fragrant and can appear all year round in ideal conditions.

Light: This Hoya prefers bright indirect light, but can tolerate moderate light levels. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.

Watering: As Hoya kerrii is a succulent plant, it needs only moderate watering. Allow the substrate to dry out completely between waterings, especially in winter.

Substrate: A well-draining mix is crucial for this plant. Use a hoya substrate enriched with coconut fiber, bark of various sizes, pumice, perlite and charcoal to ensure good drainage and prevent root rot.

Toxicity: Hoya kerrii is generally considered non-toxic to humans and pets, making it suitable for use in homes with children and pets.

That's why we only work with reputable transport companies that offer affordable rates and allow you to track your package in real time to its final destination. When the order leaves our greenhouses, the carrier takes over your order. We are not responsible for the risks involved in transport. Please contact the transport company directly. 

You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.

Delivery price:

    The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.

    Preparation of orders:

    An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.

    Orders cancellation:

    Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.

    Combine your order with an existing one

    We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined. 

    Winter Expedition

    During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.

    Pickup in store:

    In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email. 

    Returns:

    All our plants are final sales. 

    However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
