Dracaena goldieana
Dracaena goldieana is a unique and attractive houseplant, famous for its distinctive, ornamental foliage. Its broad, oval leaves are marked with dark green and silver stripes, with an almost marbled texture, giving it a luxurious, exotic appearance. This plant is perfect for adding an elegant, tropical touch to any interior space.
Origin: Native to the tropical forests of West Africa, Dracaena goldieana grows naturally under the forest canopy, where it benefits from high humidity and subdued light.
Growth: Dracaena goldieana is relatively slow-growing, generally reaching a height of 30-60 cm indoors. It develops a low, compact structure, with leaves that spread out in a rosette around the central stem. This slow growth and low habit make it ideal for small areas or as an accent plant in larger plant arrangements.
Flowers: Dracaena goldieana rarely flowers indoors. If it does flower, it produces small, discreet, fragrant white flowers, which usually appear at the base of the leaves. However, this plant is mainly grown for its decorative foliage rather than its flowers.
Light: Dracaena goldieana prefers moderate indirect light. It can tolerate low light conditions, but its colors will be more vibrant with moderate lighting. It is important to protect it from direct sunlight, which can damage its delicate leaves.
Watering: Water regularly to keep the substrate slightly moist, but make sure the soil never gets soggy. Allow the soil surface to dry out slightly between waterings. In winter, reduce watering, but prevent the soil from drying out completely.
Substrate: A well-draining substrate is essential for Dracaena goldieana. A mixture of potting soil for indoor plants, enriched with perlite to improve drainage, is recommended. This prevents excessive water retention, which could lead to root rot.
Toxicity: Like many Dracaenas, Dracaena goldieana is toxic to pets, especially cats and dogs, if ingested. It can cause symptoms such as vomiting, excessive salivation and loss of appetite. It is therefore advisable to keep it out of the reach of pets.

When the order leaves our greenhouses, the carrier takes over your order. We are not responsible for the risks involved in transport. Please contact the transport company directly.
You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.
Delivery price:
The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.
Preparation of orders:
An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.
Orders cancellation:
Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.
Combine your order with an existing one
We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined.
Winter Expedition
During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.
Pickup in store:
In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email.
Returns:
All our plants are final sales.
However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
