A bio-insecticide that effectively controls beetle larvae that damage the lawn.

When the product is applied, the active ingredient - a living organism in the soil - is released into the soil and into the root zone where the larvae live. When the larvae eat the plant roots, they also ingest the active ingredient, ending their life and destruction. The product controls a multitude of beetle larvae: annual bluegrass weevil, Asian garden beetle, black lawn beetle, European chafer, green chafer, Japanese chafer, common chafer, northern masked chafer, eastern chafer and southern masked chafer.

Apply with a granular spreader (1.40 kg covers 125 m2 of lawn,
3.08 kg covers 275 m2). Water so that the product penetrates to a depth of about 1.25 cm.

Several applications of Bt can be made during the season:

SPRING (April to end of May): Apply after the soil has thawed to control overwintered larvae that are now migrating to the surface to feed on the roots.

SUMMER (late June to early August): Apply to control newly hatched larvae. The product should be applied within 2 to 3 weeks of the adult beetle abundance period.

FALL (late August to September): Apply to help control new larvae that have hatched from new beetle eggs during the summer. This will help protect the turf from overwintering larvae and minimize the impact and amount of larvae the following spring.
