Euphorbia enopla f. cristata is a cristate form of Euphorbia enopla, an attractive succulent known for its many bright red spines and compact appearance. The cristate form is characterized by abnormal growth where the stem develops into a wavy, enlarged structure, giving the plant a unique and highly decorative appearance. This mutation creates a visually captivating effect, making each specimen different and interesting for succulent collectors and enthusiasts.

Origin: Like the classic Euphorbia enopla, the cristate form is native to South Africa, where these plants have adapted to survive in arid conditions with prolonged periods of drought.

Growth: Euphorbia enopla f. cristata retains the distinctive reddish spine color and dark green body of the original species, but with a cristate growth habit that can vary greatly in form. Instead of growing straight like the type, the cristate part spreads horizontally or in irregular shapes, often in patches or waves.

Flowers: Like the type species, this crystalline form can produce small yellow flowers, but flowering is less frequent and often less conspicuous due to the emphasis on the single crystalline growth of the stem.

Light: Prefer bright exposure to direct or filtered sunlight. Adequate light is essential to maintain the vibrant color of the spines and encourage growth.

Watering: Watering should be moderate, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings. As with many Euphorbias, it's important to reduce watering over winter to prevent root rot.

Substrate: A well-draining mix is crucial. Using a substrate for cacti and succulents, enriched with perlite and pumice, is ideal to ensure good drainage and plant health.

Toxicity: Euphorbia enopla, including its crystalline form, contains a milky sap that can be irritating to the skin and eyes, and toxic if ingested. Handle the plant with care and avoid contact with the sap.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and place particular importance on the delivery methods used and the speed of service. That's why we only work with reputable transport companies that offer affordable rates and allow you to track your package in real time to its final destination. When the order leaves our greenhouses, the carrier takes over your order. We are not responsible for the risks involved in transport. Please contact the transport company directly. 

You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.

Delivery price:

    The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.

    Preparation of orders:

    An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.

    Orders cancellation:

    Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.

    Combine your order with an existing one

    We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined. 

    Winter Expedition

    During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.

    Pickup in store:

    In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email. 

    Returns:

    All our plants are final sales. 

    However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
