Origin:
Native to South Africa, Raphionacme procumbens is a succulent plant belonging to the family Apocynaceae. It grows naturally in semi-arid regions where the soil is well drained.

Watering: This plant needs moderate watering, usually once a week during the growing season (spring and summer). In winter, reduce watering, watering only when the soil is completely dry.

Brightness: Raphionacme procumbens likes bright but indirect light. A location near an east or west facing window is ideal. Avoid direct exposure to the midday sun, which can burn the foliage.

Substrate: It prefers a well-drained soil. A cactus mix with a little pumice and activated charcoal is usually sufficient to ensure good drainage.

Flower Color: The plant produces small, bright white flowers with a yellow center, which contrast nicely with the dark green foliage.

Minimum temperature: The Raphionacme procumbens is a resistant plant which can tolerate temperatures as low as 10°C. However, for an optimal growth, it prefers warmer temperatures, ideally between 20°C and 25°C.

Growth Rate: This plant is relatively slow growing, especially when it is young. With ideal growing conditions, it can reach a height of 10 cm in a few years.
