Yellow Opuntia microdasys, also known as yellow rabbit ear cactus, is a succulent plant native to Mexico. It is distinguished by its flat segments covered with small, bright yellow spines, which give it a distinctive appearance. Although it occasionally produces yellow flowers, it is mainly appreciated for its attractive coloring and unique shape.

Origin: Native to Mexico
Watering: Water moderately and allow the substrate to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot.
Brightness: Prefers sunny exposure, but can tolerate indirect light.
Substrate: Use a well-drained substrate, such as a mixture of cactus potting soil with pumice or perlite for better aeration.
Growth: Moderate growth, with flat segments covered with small yellow thorns.
