Origin: Edithcolea grandis is native to East Africa, notably Somalia and Kenya.

Watering: Moderate watering, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings.

Flower: It produces unusual star-shaped flowers that look like velvet and give off an unpleasant fragrance.
