Xanthosoma aurea 'Lime Zinger' is an attractive variety of Xanthosoma, often admired for its vibrant, distinctive foliage. This tropical plant features large, arrow- or heart-shaped leaves, characterized by their vibrant lime-green color, which can really brighten up a garden or interior space. 'Lime Zinger' adds a tropical touch and lush texture to plant collections.

Origin: Xanthosoma is native to tropical America, but 'Lime Zinger', with its unique variegation and coloration, was developed for its specific ornamental qualities. It is particularly prized in plant collections for its strong visual impact.
Growth: 'Lime Zinger' grows rapidly under the right conditions, forming large clumps of leaves. The plant can reach considerable size, making it an excellent choice as an accent plant in tropical gardens or as a striking houseplant in well-lit spaces.
Flowers: Although flowering is not the main feature of this plant and is rare in indoor cultivation, Xanthosoma aurea can produce spathe-wrapped inflorescences similar to those of other members of the Araceae family.
Light: Prefers bright indirect light but can tolerate partial light levels. Avoid direct exposure to intense sunlight, which can burn the leaves.
Watering: As with many tropical plants, 'Lime Zinger' prefers evenly moist but well-drained soil. Avoid water stagnation to prevent root rot. In winter, reduce watering.
Substrate: Rich, well-draining soil is ideal. A mixture of houseplant soil with perlite or vermiculite can improve drainage while retaining the necessary moisture.
Temperature: Prefers warm temperatures and high humidity, typical of its natural tropical habitat. Protect the plant from cold draughts and low temperatures.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our products and place particular importance on the delivery methods used and the speed of service. That's why we only work with reputable transport companies that offer affordable rates and allow you to track your package in real time to its final destination. When the order leaves our greenhouses, the carrier takes over your order. We are not responsible for the risks involved in transport. Please contact the transport company directly. 

You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.

Delivery price:

    The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.

    Preparation of orders:

    An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.

    Orders cancellation:

    Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.

    Combine your order with an existing one

    We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined. 

    Winter Expedition

    During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.

    Pickup in store:

    In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email. 

    Returns:

    All our plants are final sales. 

    However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
