Dendrobium nobile is a very popular orchid species, known for its spectacular flowering and relatively easy care. This orchid produces long canes (stems) with glossy green leaves, and is particularly appreciated for the clusters of colorful, fragrant flowers that appear along the canes.

Origin: Native to Asia, notably India, Thailand, Nepal, Vietnam and parts of China, Dendrobium nobile is found in mountainous forest environments.
Growth: This orchid is moderate in growth and can reach a significant height when well cared for. Canes can produce flowers for several seasons if the plant is well cared for.
Flowers: Dendrobium nobile flowers are large, often colored white, pink, purple or yellow, and can be fragrant. Flowering generally takes place in late winter or early spring.
Light: Prefers bright but indirect light. Too much direct light, especially during the hottest hours, can burn leaves and flowers.
Watering: Requires regular but moderate watering. Allow substrate to dry slightly between waterings. In the dormant period after flowering, reduce watering.
Substrate : Dendrobium nobile thrive in a well-draining orchid substrate, often composed of bark, perlite and peat moss.
Temperature: Prefers moderate to warm daytime temperatures and cooler night-time temperatures. A temperature difference between day and night favors flowering.
Toxicity: Non-toxic.
