Begonia rex 'Lavender' is a variety of Begonia rex, appreciated for its decorative, colorful foliage. This variety is distinguished by its large leaves with captivating textures and patterns, offering a mix of colors where lavender, green, silver and sometimes touches of pink blend harmoniously. The leaves often have a slightly fluffy surface and a metallic or iridescent appearance, making them particularly attractive in the right light.

Origin: Begonia rex are native to the subtropical and tropical regions of the eastern Himalayas, India, Burma and China. Lavender' is the result of horticultural selections aimed at obtaining particularly aesthetic foliage.
Growth: Begonia rex 'Lavender' has a moderate growth habit. It is generally grown as a houseplant for its ornamental foliage, forming compact clumps that can reach a medium size.
Flowers: Although Begonia rex can produce flowers, they are often considered less spectacular than the foliage and are not the plant's main attraction.
Light: Prefers bright indirect light. Direct sunlight, especially in the afternoon, can burn delicate leaves.
Watering: Requires regular watering, keeping the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Good drainage is crucial to avoid root rot.
Substrate: A well-draining mix is ideal. A mix of houseplant potting soil with perlite or peat moss is often recommended to promote good drainage while retaining sufficient moisture.

You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.

Delivery price:

    The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.

    Preparation of orders:

    An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.

    Orders cancellation:

    Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.

    Combine your order with an existing one

    We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined. 

    Winter Expedition

    During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.

    Pickup in store:

    In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email. 


    All our plants are final sales. 

    However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
