Begonia maculata 'Double Dot' is a distinctive variety of Begonia maculata, famous for its ornamental foliage. It is characterized by its large, shiny dark-green leaves, punctuated by unique white or silver spots that appear almost reflective. What sets 'Double Dot' apart are its particular spots, which may appear more numerous or more defined than on other varieties of Begonia maculata. The leaves are often elongated and pointed, with a red or purple rim around the edges.

Origin: Like the standard Begonia maculata, 'Double Dot' is native to tropical and subtropical regions, notably the forests of Brazil.
Growth: This plant is moderate in growth and can reach considerable size indoors, making it an excellent accent plant or focal point in a living space.
Flowers: Begonia maculata 'Double Dot' can produce clusters of small pink or white flowers. Although the flowers are attractive, it is mainly for its spectacular foliage that this plant is grown.
Light: Prefers bright indirect light. Direct sunlight can burn the leaves, while insufficient light can reduce the contrast of leaf spots.
Watering: Requires regular watering, keeping the soil evenly moist but not soggy. Avoiding excess water is crucial to prevent root rot.
Substrate: A well-draining mix is important. A mixture of potting soil with perlite or vermiculite is suitable.

If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.

Delivery price:

    The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.

    Preparation of orders:

    An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.

    Orders cancellation:

    Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.

    Combine your order with an existing one

    We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined. 

    Winter Expedition

    During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.

    Pickup in store:

    In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email. 


    All our plants are final sales. 

    However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
