Piment Aribibi Gusano is a rare variety from Bolivia, also known as Caterpillar Pepper, evoking its caterpillar-like appearance. It belongs to the C. Chinense.
Fruits are 1.5 to 2 cm long and 0.5 cm wide, with a crumpled surface. They ripen in 100 days, turning from ivory-white to pale yellow.
The plant is distinguished by its white flowers. It is a compact, highly productive plant, reaching a height of 60 to 90 cm, with green foliage and stems.
In terms of taste, Aribibi Gusano Pepper offers a citrus flavor. Another important point to note is its pungency: it reaches 80,000 units on the Scoville scale (SHU), making it a rather strong pepper.
