Peperomia incana is known for its heart-shaped leaves covered with white hairs that give it the appearance of felt, hence its common name "Felted Pepperface". Easy to care for, it has striking evergreen foliage and is ideal for keeping year-round in your collection. It has a stiff, almost vertical growth habit, reaching a height of 6 to 12 inches and a width of 12 to 15 inches.

In summer, if grown in plenty of light, it will produce stems completely covered with tiny white flowers. It prefers to be placed in a brightly lit spot, but can also do well in shady locations.
