Origin:
Native to the desert regions of Mexico and Central America, the Melocactus maxonii var. inermis is a succulent plant of the genus Melocactus.

Watering: This plant needs moderate watering, preferring well-drained soil. During the growing season, watering can be more frequent, but the soil should always be allowed to dry between waterings. In winter, watering should be reduced to a minimum.

Brightness : Melocactus maxonii var. inermis likes bright places but avoid direct exposure to the midday sun which could burn its spines. It can also tolerate some shade.
