Peperomia verticillata
Peperomia verticillata, also known as Greenleaf Peperomia, is an attractive, easy-to-care-for houseplant appreciated for its dense foliage and compact growth characteristics. It is distinguished by its round, glossy, slightly downy leaves that can be green or have shades of red on the undersides, adding a touch of contrasting color.
Origin: Native to the tropical regions of South America, particularly Peru, Peperomia verticillata is adapted to warm, slightly humid environments, similar to those of its natural habitat.
Growth: This plant has a bushy, compact form, growing to around 30 cm in height. It forms tufts of leaves that grow in rosettes around the central stem, giving the plant a voluminous, bushy appearance.
Flowers: Peperomia verticillata produces vertical flower spikes resembling small rat's tails. Although these flowers are not particularly showy or colorful, they add botanical interest during their blooming period.
Light: It prefers medium to bright indirect light, but can adapt to lower light levels. Too much direct sunlight can burn leaves, while insufficient light can slow growth and fade foliage.
Watering: Watering should be moderate, allowing the substrate to dry out slightly between waterings. Peperomia verticillata doesn't like soggy soil, so it's crucial to ensure that the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot.
Substrate: Use a well-draining mix for indoor plants. A substrate composed of potting soil, perlite and vermiculite is ideal for providing the necessary drainage while retaining enough moisture to support plant growth.
Toxicity: Peperomia verticillata is considered non-toxic to humans and pets, making it ideal for use in homes and offices.

When the order leaves our greenhouses, the carrier takes over your order. We are not responsible for the risks involved in transport. Please contact the transport company directly.
You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.
Delivery price:
The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.
Preparation of orders:
An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.
Orders cancellation:
Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.
Combine your order with an existing one
We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined.
Winter Expedition
During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.
Pickup in store:
In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email.
Returns:
All our plants are final sales.
However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
