Myrtillocactus geometrizans f. cristata is a columnar cactus native to Mexico. This variety has a fascinating and unusual growth habit due to cristation, which causes abnormal cell division in the growth apex, creating a wavy or curly shape along the cactus stem.
Origin: Myrtillocactus geometrizans is native to Mexico, where it grows in desert and semi-desert environments. The crystalline form is the result of mutation and is often propagated by grafting to maintain and reproduce its unique shape.
Growth: Growth of the cristate form can be slower than that of the standard columnar form of Myrtillocactus geometrizans. The cristate form develops wavy, folded structures that widen over time, making it a highly decorative specimen.
Flowers: Although the cristate form can sometimes flower, flowering is less common and less predictable than in non-cristate cacti. When in bloom, Myrtillocactus geometrizans produces large white or slightly pink flowers.
Light: Prefers full sun to part shade. Bright light is necessary for healthy growth, but in very hot regions, protection from the afternoon sun may be beneficial to avoid burns.
Watering: As with many cacti, moderate watering is recommended. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, and reduce watering in winter.
Substrate: Requires well-draining soil. A cactus mix of potting soil, pumice and perlite or gravel is ideal.
Toxicity: Myrtillocactus geometrizans is not known to be toxic, but it is always advisable to handle with care to avoid injury from spines.

You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.
Delivery price:
The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.
Preparation of orders:
An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.
Orders cancellation:
Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.
Combine your order with an existing one
We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined.
Winter Expedition
During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.
Pickup in store:
In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email.
Returns:
All our plants are final sales.
However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
