Ficus pumila 'Quercifolia
Ficus pumila 'Quercifolia' is a miniature, delicate variety of the creeping fig, prized for its small, oak-shaped leaves, from which it takes its name. This climbing or drooping plant is ideal for interior spaces where you want to add a discreet, decorative touch of greenery. Its dense, fine foliage makes it an excellent choice for hanging baskets or as ground cover.
Origin: Native to tropical regions of East Asia, Ficus pumila 'Quercifolia' is a variant of Ficus pumila. It is distinguished by the unique shape of its small, oak-like leaves.
Growth: This plant has a moderate growth habit and can reach several meters in length if grown as a climber or dropper. Its leaves, much smaller than those of other Ficus pumila varieties, are irregularly lobed, reminiscent of oak leaves. Its compact size and dense habit make it an excellent ornamental plant.
Flowers: Like most Ficus, Ficus pumila 'Quercifolia' rarely flowers indoors. When it does flower, the inflorescences are small and discreet, the plant being appreciated mainly for its delicate foliage.
Light: This plant prefers bright but indirect light. It tolerates moderate light conditions, but will grow more vigorously in bright light. Avoid direct sunlight, which could burn its delicate leaves.
Watering: Ficus pumila 'Quercifolia' likes slightly moist soil and should be watered regularly. Make sure the substrate partially dries out between waterings to avoid overwatering. In winter, reduce the frequency of watering, taking care not to let the soil become too dry.
Substrate: A well-draining substrate is essential for this plant. Use a mixture of potting soil for houseplants, enriched with perlite or coarse sand, to promote good drainage and prevent water build-up in the pot.
Toxicity: Ficus pumila 'Quercifolia' is toxic to pets, especially cats and dogs, if ingested. It can cause irritation of the mouth, throat and stomach, as well as vomiting. It is therefore recommended to keep it out of reach of pets.

You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.
Delivery price:
The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.
Preparation of orders:
An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.
Orders cancellation:
Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.
Combine your order with an existing one
We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined.
Winter Expedition
During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.
Pickup in store:
In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email.
Returns:
All our plants are final sales.
However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
