Dieffenbachia 'Tiki' is a popular houseplant for its exotic, decorative foliage. Its large leaves feature a fascinating mix of dark green, light green and mottled silvery-white patterns, offering a striking visual effect that immediately catches the eye. This plant is perfect for adding a sophisticated, tropical touch to your interior space.

Origin:
Native to the rainforests of Central and South America, Dieffenbachia 'Tiki' belongs to a plant family well known for its ornamental foliage and ease of care.

Growth:
Dieffenbachia 'Tiki' grows moderately fast indoors. It can reach a height of 60 to 90 cm, with leaves up to 30 cm long. It forms a dense clump of leaves that spreads as it grows, making it an excellent choice for a focal point in a room.

Flowers:
Although Dieffenbachia 'Tiki' can produce inflorescences, they are fairly inconspicuous and rarely appear indoors. The flowers are generally small and green, but they are not the main reason to grow this plant.

Light:
Dieffenbachia 'Tiki' prefers bright, indirect light. It also tolerates low-light conditions, but to preserve the vibrant patterns on its leaves, it's best to provide moderate to strong light. Avoid direct sunlight, as this can burn its delicate leaves.

Watering:
Regular watering is necessary to keep the substrate evenly moist, but not excessively so. Allow the soil surface to dry out slightly between waterings. In winter, reduce watering slightly, but avoid letting the soil dry out completely.

Substrate:
A well-draining, slightly acidic to neutral potting soil is ideal for this plant. A mixture of standard potting soil with a little perlite to improve drainage is recommended. Good drainage is essential to avoid root rot problems.

Toxicity:
Like all Dieffenbachias, 'Tiki' is toxic to pets and humans if ingested. It contains calcium oxalate crystals that can cause severe irritation of the mouth, throat and stomach. Keep out of reach of children and pets.

When the order leaves our greenhouses, the carrier takes over your order. We are not responsible for the risks involved in transport. Please contact the transport company directly. 

You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.

Delivery price:

    The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.

    Preparation of orders:

    An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.

    Orders cancellation:

    Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.

    Combine your order with an existing one

    We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined. 

    Winter Expedition

    During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.

    Pickup in store:

    In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email. 

    Returns:

    All our plants are final sales. 

    However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
