Breynia disticha 'Snow Bush', often called "Japanese Snow" because of its white variegated leaves, is an attractive houseplant that adds a fresh, light touch to any space. Its small, oval leaves, delicately marbled with white, pink and green, create an effect of lightness, as if covered in a fine layer of snow, hence its common name.
Origin: Breynia disticha is native to the tropical regions of the South Pacific, notably New Caledonia, Polynesia and Fiji. In its natural habitat, it grows as a shrub or small tree, often used as an ornamental plant for tropical gardens.
Growth: Breynia disticha 'Snow Bush' is a moderate-growing shrub that can reach heights of 1 to 2 meters indoors, but generally remains more compact when grown in pots. Its graceful branches bear small, delicate leaves with a unique variegation of green, white and sometimes pink, which becomes more pronounced as the plant ages. This color combination makes it an ideal plant for adding visual interest and fine texture to interior decoration.
Flowers: Breynia disticha 'Snow Bush' flowers are discreet and inconspicuous, small and creamy to greenish in color. They usually appear in the leaf axils, but are not the main attraction of this plant, which is mainly grown for its decorative foliage.
Light: This plant prefers bright but indirect light. It can tolerate moderate light, but the variegation of its leaves will be more intense in brighter light. We recommend placing it near an east- or west-facing window for optimum indirect light.
Watering: Breynia disticha 'Snow Bush' likes constantly moist but well-drained soil. Water regularly to keep the substrate moist, allowing the surface to dry slightly between waterings. In winter, reduce watering while maintaining a certain level of humidity, as this plant does not like overly dry conditions.
Substrate: Use a well-draining, organic-rich potting soil such as a houseplant mix. An addition of perlite can improve drainage and prevent problems associated with excess humidity.
Toxicity: Breynia disticha 'Snow Bush' is not considered toxic to humans or pets, making it a safe plant for homes with children or pets.

You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.
Delivery price:
The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.
Preparation of orders:
An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.
Orders cancellation:
Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.
Combine your order with an existing one
We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined.
Winter Expedition
During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.
Pickup in store:
In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email.
Returns:
All our plants are final sales.
However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
