Phlebodium 'Bluestar' is a distinctive indoor fern, renowned for its pale blue-green foliage and wavy fronds that add a subtle touch of color to an interior space. Its graceful shape and unique foliage make it a popular plant for bringing a soothing, tropical ambience to your home. It is particularly suited to low-light, humid environments.

Origin: Native to the rainforests of Central and South America, Phlebodium 'Bluestar' grows naturally in moist, shady environments, making it an ideal indoor plant.

Growth: Phlebodium 'Bluestar' has a moderate growth habit and can reach a height of 40-60 cm indoors. Its thick, slightly wavy fronds grow in clumps, creating a dense, lush effect.

Flowers: Like all ferns, Phlebodium 'Bluestar' does not produce flowers. It reproduces by spores formed under the fronds.

Light: This fern prefers bright but indirect light. It tolerates low light conditions, but moderate to bright light promotes more vigorous growth. It is important to avoid direct sunlight, which can burn delicate fronds.

Watering: Phlebodium 'Bluestar' likes slightly moist soil. Water regularly, allowing the soil to dry out partially between waterings. This fern appreciates high ambient humidity, so spray the fronds regularly to maintain an adequate moisture level.

Substrate: A well-draining substrate is recommended. A mixture of potting soil for houseplants enriched with perlite or compost is ideal to ensure good drainage while maintaining sufficient humidity.

Toxicity: Phlebodium 'Bluestar' is non-toxic to pets and humans, making it a safe plant to grow in homes with children or pets.

That's why we only work with reputable transport companies that offer affordable rates and allow you to track your package in real time to its final destination. When the order leaves our greenhouses, the carrier takes over your order. We are not responsible for the risks involved in transport. Please contact the transport company directly. 

You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.

Delivery price:

    The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.

    Preparation of orders:

    An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.

    Orders cancellation:

    Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.

    Combine your order with an existing one

    We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined. 

    Winter Expedition

    During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.

    Pickup in store:

    In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email. 

    Returns:

    All our plants are final sales. 

    However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
