Begonia angel wing 'Brazilian Lady' is an elegant and colorful houseplant, renowned for its spectacular foliage and delicate flowers. This begonia adds a vibrant, sophisticated touch to any interior space with its textured leaves and abundant blooms.
Origin: Begonia angel wing 'Brazilian Lady' is a hybrid cultivar in the "angel wing" begonia series. Like most begonias in this series, it is the result of crosses between different tropical species from South America.
Growth: This plant is moderate to fast-growing, generally reaching 50-80 cm in height when grown indoors. Its leaves are large, wing-shaped, deep green with silver spots and prominent veins. The underside of the leaves is often tinged with red, adding an extra dimension to its appearance.
Flowers: Begonia 'Brazilian Lady' produces magnificent clusters of pink to red flowers, appearing mainly in spring and summer. The flowers are pendulous and contrast nicely with the dense foliage.
Light: This plant prefers bright but indirect light. Intense indirect lighting is ideal for maintaining vibrant leaf color and encouraging generous flowering. Avoid direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.
Watering: Water regularly, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings. Make sure the soil is well drained to avoid root rot. In winter, reduce watering slightly, as the plant enters a period of slower growth.
Substrate: Use a light, well-draining potting soil, such as a mix of potting soil for houseplants with perlite or peat moss, to ensure good drainage and maintain the moisture the plant needs.
Toxicity: Begonia angel wing 'Brazilian Lady' is slightly toxic to pets if ingested. It is therefore advisable to keep it out of the reach of pets and young children.

When the order leaves our greenhouses, the carrier takes over your order. We are not responsible for the risks involved in transport. Please contact the transport company directly.
You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.
Delivery price:
The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.
Preparation of orders:
An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.
Orders cancellation:
Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.
Combine your order with an existing one
We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined.
Winter Expedition
During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.
Pickup in store:
In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email.
Returns:
All our plants are final sales.
However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
