Astroloba corrugata
Astroloba corrugata is a succulent plant belonging to the Asphodelaceae family. Native to South Africa, this species is prized for its distinctive leaf structure and attractive growth form. Astroloba corrugata is part of the Astroloba genus, which includes plants known for their dense, pointed leaves, often arranged in spirals or tight rows, creating a visually interesting effect.
Origin: Astroloba corrugata is endemic to the semi-arid regions of South Africa, where it grows in rocky habitats. It is adapted to survive in arid environments, with specific adaptations to minimize water loss and maximize photosynthesis efficiency.
Growth: The plant generally forms dense clumps with stems covered with tight, corrugated leaves. The leaves are dark green, often with patterns of lines or wrinkles, giving the plant its name "corrugata", meaning "pleated" or "corrugated" in Latin.
Flowers: Astroloba corrugata produces spike-shaped inflorescences bearing small, usually green or white flowers. The flowers appear at the top of the stems and may open successively along the inflorescence.
Light: Prefers bright light to partial shade. Direct exposure to intense sunlight can cause leaf burn, especially in very hot regions or on summer afternoons.
Watering: Watering should be moderate, allowing the substrate to dry out completely between waterings. As with many succulents, it's crucial to reduce watering during the winter dormancy period to prevent root rot.
Substrate: A well-draining mix is essential for plant health. Using a substrate for cacti and succulents, enriched with perlite and pumice, is ideal to ensure good drainage.
Toxicity: In general, Astrolobas are not known to be toxic to humans or pets.

That's why we only work with reputable transport companies that offer affordable rates and allow you to track your package in real time to its final destination. When the order leaves our greenhouses, the carrier takes over your order. We are not responsible for the risks involved in transport. Please contact the transport company directly.
You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.
Delivery price:
The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.
Preparation of orders:
An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.
Orders cancellation:
Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.
Combine your order with an existing one
We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined.
Winter Expedition
During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.
Pickup in store:
In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email.
Returns:
All our plants are final sales.
However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
