Anthurium 'Cobra'
Anthurium 'Cobra' is an intriguing and exotic houseplant, known for its thick, leathery leaves that stand proudly, reminiscent of the posture of an alert cobra, hence the name. The leaves are a glossy dark green and are sometimes marked with subtle veins that add relief to the plant. Origin: Anthurium 'Cobra' is a hybrid cultivar resulting from crosses between different Anthurium species native to the tropical forests of Central and South America.
Growth: This plant remains relatively compact, generally reaching a height of 50 to 70 cm indoors. Its growth is moderate, and it develops new leaves all year round when grown in optimal light and humidity conditions.
Flowers: Anthurium 'Cobra' produces inflorescences in the form of spathes and spadices, typical of Anthuriums. The spathes are often light green or white, offering a delicate contrast with the dark leaves, but the bloom remains discreet in relation to the foliage.
Light: It prefers bright but indirect light. Prolonged direct light can damage the leaves, while insufficient light can slow growth and make the leaves less robust.
Watering: Water regularly to keep the substrate slightly moist, taking care to avoid overwatering. Allow the soil surface to dry slightly between waterings to prevent root rot. Reduce watering frequency during winter, when the plant goes into relative dormancy.
Substrate: Use a well-draining potting soil rich in organic matter. A tropical plant mix is ideal. This type of soil retains sufficient moisture while allowing good drainage, essential to prevent root disease.
Toxicity: Anthurium 'Cobra' is toxic to animals and humans if ingested. The sap can cause skin irritation, so handle the plant with care.

You must be present when your package is delivered, as we require a signature upon delivery. It is your responsibility to send us an email prior to delivery to advise us of your absence. If you prefer delivery without a signature, please let us know when you place your order. However, you are solely responsible for any theft or damage due to bad weather.
Delivery price:
The prices are established according to the exact weight of the package, and not according to a pre-established charter. You can therefore be sure to pay the exact price of your order. We do business with several delivery companies, which allows us to offer you the best price and the fastest and most efficient carrier.
Preparation of orders:
An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to you following the confirmation of your purchase. We ship everywhere in Canada only from Monday to Wednesday in order to avoid that our parcels stay at the post office on weekends. Local delivery is available from Monday to Saturday for the greater metropolitan area. You will receive your tracking number as soon as your order is processed and shipped, along with the expected delivery date. This number will allow you to know the status of your order in real time until its final destination. Please check your spam box if you do not receive a confirmation email. We do not give any delivery time due to the large quantity of orders to prepare.
Orders cancellation:
Do you want to cancel an order you have placed? We can only issue a refund if the order has not yet been prepared and/or shipped.
Combine your order with an existing one
We offer you the possibility to combine your purchases made on our online shop only if your order is not in preparation. Only orders to be shipped to the same address and name can be combined.
Winter Expedition
During the winter months, insulation packaging + heating package are included in the transport costs. In case of extreme cold, we reserve the right to suspend deliveries until suitable temperatures return.
Pickup in store:
In order to provide you with quality plants, we ask that you pick up your confirmed orders, ready for shop pick-up, within 4 days of your confirmation email.
Returns:
All our plants are final sales.
However, if you have received an order that is damaged, incorrect or has a phytosanitary problem, please contact us within 48 hours of receipt at info@serreslavoie.com. Please Include a photo of the product, its packaging and your order number. We will evaluate the situation and let you know afterwards if we proceed with the replacement of the product or a credit note.
