Epipremnum

Epipremnum, also known as pothos, is a climbing plant native to the rainforests of China, the Himalayas and Southeast Asia all the way to the Western Pacific. In its natural environment, it clings to the trunks of trees using aerial roots or crawls on the floor of tropical forests.

Its shiny, heart-shaped leaves are found in different shades of green as well as variegated with cream or gold. It is mainly grown in hanging baskets to show off its long, pendulous stems, or as a climbing plant on decorative stakes or on pieces of bark. Pothos are also recognized as being a very easy to maintain plant and ideal for beginners.
