Echeveria 'Perle von Nürnberg': Echeveria 'Perle von Nürnberg' is one of the most popular Echeveria varieties among succulent enthusiasts. It is distinguished by its attractive foliage, composed of dense rosettes of fleshy leaves. These leaves feature fascinating colors, often blending green, gray and pink, with a waxy bloom that gives them a pearly appearance.

Origin: Although Echeverias are native to Mexico and other parts of Central America, 'Perle von Nürnberg' is a cultivar obtained by hybridization, probably in Germany, as its name suggests. It is the result of a cross between Echeveria gibbiflora 'Metallica' and Echeveria elegans.
Growth: This is a moderate-growing variety, forming rosettes up to 15-20 cm in diameter. Over time, it can produce offshoots and form small groups of plants.
Flowers: Echeveria 'Perle von Nürnberg' can produce arching flower stalks bearing bell-shaped flowers, usually coral to pink, which contrast nicely with the foliage. Flowering occurs mainly in spring or summer.
Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. A little direct sun, especially in the morning or late afternoon, can intensify the rosette's colors, but prolonged exposure to midday sun can cause burns.
Watering: As with other succulents, moderate watering is necessary. Allow the substrate to dry out completely between waterings. Reduce watering in winter.
Substrate: Well-draining soil is crucial. Use a mix for cacti and succulents, with coarse sand, perlite or vermiculite.
Temperature: Tolerates a range of temperatures but must be protected from frost. Prefers warm, dry conditions.
