Cryptanthus

Cryptanthus is a genus of the Bromeliaceae family native to the forests of Brazil. In its natural state, this plant grows in leaf piles, stumps and even rocks.

Cryptanthus prefers warm, moist conditions and full sun. It is best kept at temperatures between 18 and 24°C, and avoids exposure to temperatures below 15°C. It's important to allow Cryptanthus soil to dry out completely before watering it again, as this plant is sensitive to excess water.
