Origin: Copiapoa hypogaea is native to Chile, where it grows in arid and semi-desert areas. It is adapted to dry conditions.
Watering: Like most cacti, it prefers moderate, spaced watering to avoid root rot. Allow the soil to dry out between waterings.
Brightness: Place Copiapoa hypogaea in a sunny spot, as it needs direct sunlight to thrive. It tolerates high temperatures.
