Caladium

Caladium is a genus of flowering plants in the Araceae family. They are native to South and Central America. They are often called elephant ears and angel wings. Caladiums prefer indirect light or moderate shade indoors. The narrower the leaves, the more sun they can handle. When the leaves emerge, water as needed to keep the soil moist. Never allow the plant to dry out, as the leaves may turn yellow and fall off. Stop watering the plant when the leaves begin to wilt.
