Pilosocereus is a genus of cactus native to America. These cacti need lots of sun. When grown indoors, they need 4 to 6 hours or more of direct sun.
Pilosocereus should be watered regularly in summer and kept drier in winter. That said, be careful not to overwater these cacti, as their fragile roots can rot.
