Echinopsis is a genus of the Cactaceae family and is also called sea urchin cactus or Easter lily cactus. Nearly 180 species of Echinopsis are native to South America.
Echinopsis prefer direct sun and partial shade and some species can reach more than 10 meters in height. The substrate of these cacti should never be saturated with water, otherwise the roots will rot.
