Cephalocereus

Cephalocereus is a genus of the Cactaceae family. Native to Mexico and the northern region of Central America, they are slow-growing, columnar cacti. Generally poorly branched, the plants have unsegmented stems with numerous ribs. Cephalocereus can produce flowers and fruits.

For their maintenance, it is recommended to water every 5 to 10 days during the vegetation period (mid-March to early October), however avoiding watering as long as the surface soil is damp.
