Philodendron hederaceum 'Brasil' is a climbing vine(hederaceum meaning "like ivy"). Named 'Brasil' because it is reminiscent of the Brazilian flag, it has dark green cordate (heart-shaped) leaves with a lime green mottling in the center. We use it most often hanging basket style, but at each node of its stem are small spikes that allow it to cling to surfaces. This plant is rather fast growing and can have very long stems, so don't hesitate to prune them to keep a bushy habit. Each leaf will be unique and will present a singular variegation, which makes this philodendron a real favorite.
Family: Araceae
