Origin: Euphorbia obesa, commonly known as the "baseball plant", is a unique succulent native to South Africa's Cape Province, where it thrives in arid conditions.

Watering: This plant is very drought tolerant and requires minimal watering. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings, and reduce water in winter to prevent root rot.

Light: Euphorbia obesa prefers a sunny to partially shaded location. Indirect bright light is ideal to promote healthy growth.

Substrate: A well-draining soil is crucial for this plant. A cactus and succulent potting mix is often recommended. Also make sure the pot has adequate drainage holes.

Flower Color: This spurge produces small, indistinguishable green and yellow flowers at the top of the plant in summer. Interestingly, the plants are either male or female.

Minimum temperature: Euphorbia obesa can withstand temperatures as low as 10°C, but prefers warmer conditions for optimal growth.

Growth Rate: This plant is slow growing and can take several years to reach its maximum size, which is about 20 cm in height and diameter.
