Our homemade potting mix for lithops is a combination of substrates that mimics the natural arid habitat of these succulent plants, native to southern Africa. It's a light, airy, highly draining mix that prevents moisture build-up, minimizing the risk of root rot. It contains very little potting soil and, above all, mineral elements such as various volcanic rocks. This mixture promotes growth by providing the plant with the essential nutrients it needs.
