Aloe arborescens is a perennial succulent plant, widely recognized and appreciated for its hardiness, ease of care and many medicinal uses. It belongs to the Asphodelaceae family and is often used in gardens for its ornamental appeal, as well as in traditional medicine.

Origin: Native to South Africa, Aloe arborescens has adapted to many environments around the world, particularly in Mediterranean and subtropical regions, where it can grow outdoors.
Growth: This plant can grow up to 3 meters tall in its natural habitat, forming large groups with branched stems bearing rosettes of fleshy green leaves. Its leaves are edged with prickly teeth and may have whitish spots.
Flowers: Aloe arborescens produces spectacular inflorescences of multiple tubular flowers, usually bright red, orange or yellow, which attract pollinators such as bees and birds. Flowering occurs in winter or early spring.
Light: Prefers full sun to part shade. Direct light promotes healthy growth and abundant flowering.
Watering: As with most aloes, moderate watering is necessary. Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings to prevent root rot. Reduce watering in winter.
Substrate: Well-draining soil is crucial. A cactus and succulent mix with coarse sand and perlite is ideal.
Temperature: Tolerates a range of temperatures but must be protected from frost. Prefers warm, dry conditions.
