The genus Peperomia is part of the Piperaceae family and contains over 1,500 species. This plant is an ideal indoor plant thanks to its thick, textured and colorful leaves in shades of green, veined, variegated and even purple. Easy to grow, Peperomias require bright light out of direct sunlight as well as moderate watering.
